It lingers in moments of suspension, where stillness becomes as tangible as movement and where transformation unfolds almost imperceptibly. Structured as a three-hour performance, the piece resists narrative progression in favour of duration. Repetition, breath and sound slowly recalibrate perception, inviting the audience to experience time not as something to follow but as something to dwell within. Spectators may enter and leave freely; the performance continues regardless of their presence. Like the cicada's metamorphosis, the body's transformation does not depend on being witnessed. Rather than producing events, pulses at soothe cultivates attention. The body becomes an archive of accumulated time and a threshold between persistence and change. What remains is the quiet insistence of a living process—where impermanence is not a theme to represent, but a condition to inhabit.
