seer
When prediction fails, prophecy begins. Albert Camus
SEER focuses on combining elements from the fantastic world such as cyber-inspired Japanese figures, while borrowing from sports like the realm of American football. The piece raises questions about technology and machines, particularly the place of human beings amidst constant and rapid technological progress. Seer draws inspiration from the imposing presence of the athletic female character to establish a narrative backbone. In SEER, technology plays a central role, with piezoelectric microphones placed on the body and wired armor used as a costume, symbolizing the evolution of the human figure into a mechanized being, reflecting the ever-growing influence of technology in our lives. Drawing inspiration from the fascination with video games and science fiction, electronic elements are incorporated into the choreography to provide an immersive experience for the audience.
